FAITH • STEWARDSHIP • FINANCIAL WISDOM

Grow in Faith. Gain Financial Wisdom. Help Others Do the Same.

Financial discipleship is more than learning how to budget, improve credit, or obtain business funding. It is the process of learning God's principles for money, applying them faithfully, and becoming equipped to help others do the same.

"Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful."

— 1 Corinthians 4:2

What Is Financial Discipleship?

Financial discipleship connects faith with everyday financial decisions—including spending, saving, giving, borrowing, building credit, operating a business, and preparing for the future.

Our purpose is not simply to help people obtain more money. We help participants develop the wisdom, discipline, responsible habits, and character needed to manage money well.

FOR ENTREPRENEURS AND BUSINESS OWNERS

Business Stewardship & SBA Readiness Track

Growth4U’s Business Stewardship & SBA Readiness Track helps entrepreneurs develop the financial foundation, business records, and responsible borrowing habits needed before approaching a participating SBA lender.

This is an educational readiness program—not an SBA loan application or promise of financing. Completing the program does not establish SBA eligibility or guarantee lender approval.

1

Business Financial Foundation

Learn to separate personal and business finances, maintain accurate records, understand cash flow, and create a responsible business budget.

2

Credit Readiness

Understand how personal credit, business credit, payment history, existing debt, and financial behavior may affect financing options.

3

Financial Documents

Learn how to organize tax returns, bank statements, profit-and-loss statements, balance sheets, debt schedules, ownership records, and other documents a lender may request.

4

Business Plan and Projections

Develop a clear explanation of the business, use of funds, repayment strategy, market, management experience, and realistic financial projections.

5

Responsible Borrowing

Understand loan payments, debt capacity, cash-flow requirements, collateral considerations, personal guarantees, fees, and the risks of borrowing.

6

Lender Preparation

Prepare for conversations with participating SBA lenders and understand that each lender makes its own credit and underwriting decisions.

How the Pathway Works

1

Complete an Educational Readiness Assessment

The business owner identifies financial, documentation, credit, and operational areas that may need attention.

2

Receive a Readiness Action Plan

Growth4U provides an educational checklist showing completed items, missing items, and recommended preparation steps.

3

Complete the Readiness Lessons

The participant works through business budgeting, credit readiness, financial documents, projections, and responsible borrowing.

4

Choose the Next Step

When the participant is ready, the participant may separately choose to:

  • Continue improving business readiness
  • Speak with an independent business advisor
  • Request information about potential financing options
  • Ask Growth4U for a separate lender-referral or loan-packaging consultation

No referral or loan application may occur without the participant’s separate and express consent.

Education Built Around Responsible Business Preparation

Growth4U may use publicly available small-business education resources, including the SBA Business Smart Toolkit and the SBA/FDIC Money Smart for Small Business curriculum, along with Growth4U’s own faith-based stewardship education.

These resources support business education and credit readiness. Their use does not mean that Growth4U is endorsed, certified, sponsored, or approved by the U.S. Small Business Administration or the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation.

SBA Loan Assistance and Compensation Disclosure

Growth4U Capital is not the U.S. Small Business Administration and is not a direct SBA lender. Growth4U may provide education, application-preparation support, loan-packaging services, or lender referrals through independent participating lenders.

If Growth4U receives compensation connected to a specific SBA 7(a) or 504 loan transaction, the services and compensation will be disclosed in accordance with the participating lender’s requirements and applicable SBA rules, including SBA Form 159 when required.

SBA Form 159 is a fee-disclosure and compensation agreement associated with a specific SBA loan transaction. It is not a general enrollment form and should not be completed merely for participating in Financial Discipleship or SBA-readiness education.

Loan eligibility, underwriting, approval, rates, terms, fees, and funding decisions are determined by the participating lender and applicable SBA requirements. Growth4U does not guarantee approval or funding.
